Customer in Atomia Billing API can have one of 4 statuses. Here is an explanation for each of them:
OK is for active customers that never were suspended.
Suspended is for a customer that have limited access to the control panels (only to the section for paying invoices for example) due to not following the term of usage or not paying their invoices in expected time.
Terminated customer does not have any access to control panels. This status is final, once terminated customer can't be activated again.
Unsuspended status indicates that customer was Suspended at some point. But customers with this status are not limited in any way, so those are as operative as OK customers are.
