Resellers in Atomia

In Atomia resellers can be configured in two different ways:

  • Reseller as a brand

  • Traditional reseller

Reseller as a brand

First of all, let's clarify concept of brand. Both reseller as brand and traditional reseller are called resellers in Atomia.
Reseller as a brand is a reseller with elevated privileges configured by you within Atomia system. Under elevated privileges are (among other things):

  • Access to the administration panel

  • Ability to define own products

  • Ability to define own pricing models

  • Ability to have branded (GUI) order pages and customer page

This is just a small subset of additional privileges that differentiates brand from traditional reseller.
Most common usage of reseller as a brand is if you have different companies or company brands targeting local or global market. For example, separate brand for managed services only. Such a brand should be defined like reseller as a brand - having it's own corporate identity (CSS), having own price and VAT rules, own products, own customers and so on. Fairly biggest advantage is that you are still utilizing only one instance of Atomia, regardless how many resellers as brands you might have.

Traditional resellers

Traditional resellers will be configured in same fashion as reseller as a brand - with one difference that traditional resellers will not have elevated privileges in Atomia system.
This will mean that you will remain in control of product and pricing aspects of what your resellers may re-sell. Resellers will have full management control of services of their own users, while you maintain all financial control.
In addition, you may allow your traditional reseller to utilize fully branded own order page for his inbound leads and sales if you want.
